Skylark Therapy offers speech-language services to both children and adults. The services at Skylark Therapy are provided by Registered Speech Language Pathologists who are constantly upgrading their skills and learning about the newest research-based strategies. We offer a wide range of interventions and assessments for all ages. Online therapy is also available for those who prefer the convenience of remote learning.
Arlene Sturn, MSc, SLP(C), RSLP, RASP
Registered Speech Language Pathologists
As a speech language pathologist with over 30 years of experience working with children, adolescents and adults with disabilities, Arlene is proficient at both Standardized and Dynamic Assessment methodology and skilled in the diagnosis and treatment of clients with diverse needs. She is experienced in working with Developmental Language Disorder, Childhood Apraxia of Speech, Autism Spectrum Disorder, Aphasia and Traumatic Brain Injury and has recently begun working with clients who have voice concerns.
Arlene is certified in Speech-Language Pathology by Speech-Language and Audiology Canada (SAC), a registrant of the College of Health and Care Professionals of BC (CHCPBC), and she is on the RASP list (Registry of Autism service Providers).
The rate for services is $260/hr.

Jeness Cossette, MSc, RSLP(C)
Registered Speech-Language Pathologist
Jeness completed her Master of Clinical Science in Speech-Language Pathology at Western University in London Ontario. Since graduating in 2021, she has been working as an SLP and has gained experience with a variety of children and adults in many areas of communication, including articulation, motor speech, language delays and disorders, voice, fluency, and acquired brain injury. She believes that speech-language therapy should be functional and collaborative, with a focus on family-centred care. She advocates for meeting clients where they are at, to help individuals meet their communication goals.
Jeness is a member of Speech-Language and Audiology Canada (SAC) and is a registrant of the College of Speech and Hearing Health Professionals of British Columbia (CSHBC).
